Prince Louis may face less pressure in the future than his older brother Prince George, however, as he will be expected to live up to the standards that come with being part of the monarchy.
talking with mirror, Former royal butler Grant Harrold said that although Prince William and Kate Middleton’s youngest son is unlikely to ever become king, both he and his sister Princess Charlotte will grow up knowing the importance of being treated like members of the royal family.
He said the siblings would eventually carve out their own roles within a modern monarchy.
Despite that expectation, Harold predicted that Louis’ personality would remain unchanged and noted that royal fans have long been charmed by Louis’s mischievous side.
“Louis and Charlotte will still face pressure, as they will know the importance of acting and behaving like royals,” he said.
“They also have to build a future in a new, modern family – although that’s not a concern right now,” Harold said. “Royal fans love Louis for his cheekiness, and I don’t think that will change.”
“Of course everyone loved the clip of him sticking his tongue out and shitting on the balcony of Buckingham Palace when he was younger, and we don’t see that anymore – but there’s definitely still some cheekiness there.
“The late Queen and Prince Philip had that cheeky side to them, and you can see it in Louis.”
