Today Show host Savannah’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, has just speculated about what happened in the early hours of her attempted kidnapping, based on analysis of blood spatter.
During the conversation he referred to the “tremendous force” he believed was used against the elderly mother newsnation Correspondent Brian Antin.
For those who don’t know, Nancy has been missing since January 31, and was reported missing by her family on February 1. Currently, a permanent reward of $1 million has been offered to any person providing information leading to his recovery.
Since the case was first opened, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has also become involved in the search for her recovery and based on the hair sample that was previously shown to be blood on her porch, has been directly linked to her.
It is also worth mentioning that apart from the blood splatter, her Ring Doorbell camera also captured an intense fight with her attacker.
What Antin says about the blood spatter, “I believe Nancy fought him, either inside or outside the door, depending on where the evidence of this blood spatter is in the first place.”
He also admitted, “At that time, she was probably attacked with extreme force or punched in the face or nose, and she started bleeding. She either got down on her knees or just bent over. And then coughed up blood, which is why we see this pattern.”
