IPL posted on its social media, “Update: Delhi Capitals’ Lungisani Ngidi hit his head on the ground while attempting to take a catch during his team’s match against Punjab Kings. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance complaining of headache and neck pain. Ngidi is stable and will be released from the hospital soon.”
PBKS created history
Talking about the match, it was a high-scoring game as Punjab Kings chased 265 runs as they achieved the highest target ever in IPL and all T20 history. DC, who came to bat first, scored 264/3 runs in 20 overs and broke many records, thanks to KL Rahul’s unbeaten inning of 152 runs.
