A video of Tucker Carlson presenting a “staged” conspiracy theory while discussing the shooting near the White House correspondents’ dinner following the incident has circulated online.
“Was it a coincidence? Or some other staged event,” Carlson says in the clip.
He then plays a clip of White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt talking to a reporter and saying, “Tonight will be classic, it will be fun and it will be entertaining. There will be some shots fired in the room tonight.”
Tucker Carlson adds, “Hours before the chaos, Carolyn Levitt told America to stay tuned tonight because Donald Trump will bring hearts and bullets will be fired.
“Then suddenly real shots were fired near the White House correspondents’ dinner. Shots fired, the Secret Service ran in and left Trump sitting there.”
The video has been viewed by thousands of people online and users are questioning its authenticity.
