Cameron Diaz is returning to Hollywood after taking a decade-long break.

“When she came on screen to test her camera or something, we were all right back there, like, ‘Wow, we’re making a real movie.’ My first movie (I directed) was like a group of skaters and my second movie was me and my therapist, you know, so it was like the real deal,” she said.

While Cameron took a break from acting, she took on new creative challenges like founding the wine brand Evelyn and writing health books The Body Book and its follow-up, Longevity book.
“She’s very proud of herself for moving on,” the source said.
In addition to returning to acting in Outcome, Cameron is also set to reprise her role as Princess Fiona in the upcoming film Shrek 5.
“She feels very fortunate to be in a position where she can do it all on her own terms and work with people she really likes and respects, and vice versa,” the source told the outlet.
