Xiaomi’s smart Band Pro lineup is set to be upgraded, with the Band 9 Pro slated to launch in November 2024. According to the reputable leaker, it may finally succeed with a new model as early as next month. digital chat station. Colors for the standard edition with a metal frame include black, white, silver, orange and pink. Additionally, the Band 10 Pro is also said to come with a special Ceramic White edition like the Band 10.
The leaker says a more premium ceramic band could add more weight to the Pro 10. While the regular version may weigh less than 40 grams, the ceramic version may exceed 50 grams. They say the build quality of the Band 10 Pro is likely to be “pretty good” (translated by Google).
It is worth noting that the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro also has an aluminum alloy frame but without the strap it weighs less than 25 grams. It is not clear whether the leaker indicated the weight without or with the strap. But if it’s without one, that could mean the weight almost doubles, suggesting some major changes, perhaps including a bigger screen or better battery.
The Band 9 Pro comes with a 1.7-inch rectangular screen, which can be reconfigured to the more widely used square shape like the Fitbit Versa or Sense. However, this would also mean moving away from the minimalist and unobtrusive experience that the Xiaomi Band is currently known for.
Apart from revealing a possible launch in May 2026 and a new ceramic variant, the leaker says little about the specifications. If Xiaomi chooses to increase the screen size or battery capacity of the Band Pro 10, we could also look at a price increase.
