Despite keeping a low profile in the media, Sarah Ferguson has been secretly courting King Charles, requesting a meeting with the monarch to discuss her decades-long service and dedication to the Crown before the Epstein controversy broke.
A source told about these efforts taking place behind closed doors close to magazine.
In that conversation, he explained Fergie’s motives behind making this persistent request to be put on the palace books, explaining, “To be clear, what she’s looking for most at this point is a proper explanation, a chance to sit down with some of those senior royals and provide them with her true version of events.”
“She truly believes that she has earned this right, not just because she is considered a member of the family but for all the loyalty and support she has shown to them in the past during their various crises.”
Looking at where she stands now, it’s said that Sarah ‘still can’t accept’ the fact that no one from the royal family wants anything to do with her. He never in a million years believed they would treat him so brutally. Sarah feels that she has been completely abandoned.
In her view what happened to her amounts to “being spat on and essentially treated like chopped liver” and makes it “very humiliating and hurtful”, which is seen as the reason why “she’s trying so hard to get Face Time or at least a clear explanation. But by doing that she’s really upsetting people inside the company.”
What happened to Sarah Ferguson:
As to Fergie’s current circumstances following her expulsion from the Royal Lodge, and details of her personal life since the Jeffrey Epstein affair broke, information has been given piecemeal by sources who say that she has ‘disappeared’ after being shunned by London’s high society and taking refuge in the homes of her remaining friends.
However, Fergie has been known to face scandal, even in the late 90s, as she had an affair with an American financial manager named John Bryan, which later led to her divorce.
It was also infamously called the ‘toe-sucking scandal’ as photographs of the ex-duchess with their feet circulated, and were taken from her holiday villa in St Tropez, France.
Now in the present day, she has faced the loss of her titles after her former husband lost his right to his dukedom, the loss of the residence they had shared despite the divorce for over 30 years, as well as falling out of most of her circle of friends.
But it didn’t end there as Andrew’s arrest sparked public outrage not only at him but also at his daughters, and that was preceded by the Epstein files which exposed just how deep a relationship he had with a pedophile.
