Scott Patterson recently made a shocking statement about his show Gilmore Girls.
For those unaware, Gilmore Girls, A comedy-drama television series created by Amy Sherman-Palladino released its first season in October 2000 and concluded the series after seven seasons in May 2007.
Patterson, who played Luke Danes on the series, recently appeared fox 29 late night show, mikeWhere he chats with Mike Geric about Gilmore Girls, specifically reflecting on his decision not to watch the show during filming.
“Because I made sausage 14 hours a day, I didn’t want to eat it. I had no interest in eating it after doing it for so long. When you’re on a TV series, you barely have time to eat, sleep or shower,” he explained.

Patterson shared, “I called iHeart, made a deal and that was my pitch. I had never seen the episode. They said ‘Really?’ They felt sorry for me, so they gave me a show because they felt bad for me.
After watching the show on his podcast, he “liked it” and “understood what the fans were talking about. It’s funny, it’s cute, it’s sweet, it’s unusual, it’s abstract, it’s experimental.”
“Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband Daniel – they’re two very unique creative minds and you know, they happen once in a generation. They created it, and their unique background, it shows their background and how they grew up, and it’s full of comedy,” Scott Patterson said, praising the show’s creators.
