    Over the weekend, United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon (unifil) Intensive activity by Israeli forces was observed, including widespread airstrikes near several villages, persistent naval operations off the coast of Naqoura, and drone activity nearby – including drones reportedly operated by Hezbollah militants.

    Authorities say more than 124,000 people are now sheltering in 625 schools and public buildings, while new displacement orders were issued in 11 towns in Nabatieh after airstrikes forced additional families to flee.

    Some residents attempting to return home have retreated into shelters after their homes were destroyed or inaccessible.

    Health care is under stress

    According to the latest updates from UN agencies and partners, The situation remains “highly volatile”, especially in the southern regions. And places where displaced people are trying to return.

    Health services are severely disrupted. Three hospitals and 41 primary health centers are still not operational, while many others are only partially functioning.
