The Huawei Mate 90 series is expected to launch in China in October, but early information about the lineup has already started to surface online. The latest leak highlights the key camera specifications of the Mate 90 Pro Max.
According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the upcoming Mate 90 Pro Max will feature a dual telephoto camera setup, similar to the Mate 80 Pro Max. However, one of the cameras is said to support 10x optical zoom.

The tipster also claims that Huawei is evaluating a 1-inch type sensor for the primary camera. Additionally, the overall imaging performance of the Mate 90 series is said to exceed expectations. We’re not sure what this means, but we’re excited to find out.
The Mate 90 Pro Max is also rumored to have a flat display.
Huawei unveiled the Mate 80 Pro Max in China in November last year with dual 50MP periscope telephoto cameras that offered 4x and 6.2x optical zoom. The phone also has a 50MP main camera with variable aperture.
