Zukhara Muzayeva, 25, was shot dead allegedly by her own father after she accused her husband of cheating on her, who is fighting in Ukraine as part of Putin’s forces.
Zukhara, from the Russian region of Chechnya, was shot dead by 54-year-old Samardi Muzayev in an alleged “honor killing”, according to investigative journalists.

The case came into limelight when Zukhra’s friends reported her missing.
A source told investigators that she was brutally murdered in the Chechen village of Kurchaloy in a suspected “honor killing” in late April.
Zukhara married her husband – identified as 33-year-old Yakub Magomadov – when she was 16 and gave birth to twins a year later.
She also has a daughter with Magomadov, who is believed to be still fighting in Ukraine.
It is believed that the couple’s marriage was arranged.
The allegations were published in novaya gazeta EuropeCalled on law enforcement agencies to investigate the shocking claims.
“Her husband is currently fighting in Ukraine,” Novaya Gazeta Europe reports.
“His father, Samardi Muzayev, is also a soldier.
“Three unrelated sources tell us that Zukhra was murdered by his own father”.
The report alleged that Muzayev “shaved his daughter’s head, forced her to dig her own grave and then shot her”.
“Two sources for Novaya Gazeta Europe also confirmed that the killing may have been motivated by ‘honor,'” the investigation found.
Zukhra’s husband was reportedly “unhappy that his wife was murdered without his knowledge”.
When speaking to her father and the alleged killer she said that she had “fled abroad”.
“None of this is true…Who said I killed him?” he asked before ending the call.
Media outlets have since “called on law enforcement agencies to investigate Zukhara’s disappearance and possible murder”.
The mother of three was a businesswoman who sold makeup products on Instagram.
Honor killings are widely considered a hidden problem in Chechnya and the North Caucasus.
Putin’s law enforcement often turns a blind eye to this issue.
Honor killings are reprisals against women whose relatives accuse them of behavior that brings shame to the family.
The Republic of Chechnya is part of the Russian Federation and is governed by strong man Ramzan Kadyrov, a close ally of Putin and a staunch supporter of his war.
There have also been allegations of widespread human rights abuses in the region.
