Jake Anderson has confirmed that he and his wife Jenna Anderson have parted ways.
After 13 years of marriage, the couple, who have three children, announced their divorce.
During the season 22 premiere of Deadliest Catch, Jake reflected on the collapse of his relationship.
“After 17 years together, 13 years of marriage, Jenna and I have decided to call it quits,” he said.
“It’s a lot of things. The main one is that I go crab fishing a lot,” Jake explained.
Noting, “But I have three small children who need to eat, who need to go to school, who need to see doctors, and I don’t have a job.”
Additionally, the episode also highlighted Jake’s efforts to rebuild his career amid the split. He received worrying news about his ownership stake in Titan Explorer when the lawyer told him, “I do not want you to invest any more money in your ownership interest in Titan Explorer because it may become an asset that needs to be divided in the case.”
Additionally, Jake Anderson revealed that when filming began in 2025 they had already been separated for eight months.
According to Screener TV, Jake and Jenna Anderson first met in 2009. Jake was doing “shipyard duty” when Jenna and her family approached him for an autograph.
“I gave (her) an autograph, ‘You’re beautiful’,” he recalled, adding, “I was trying to stay out of trouble, so I was living on a boat.”
Jake revealed, “I wasn’t going out and spending money; I was trying to save my money. She started calling me and I started calling her for a few weeks. We fell in love.” Jake’s nieces encourage him to give them their numbers.
