King Charles visited Golders Green in London on Thursday, which is home to a large and prominent Jewish community.
According to Buckingham Palace, “Following a series of anti-Semitic attacks, the King reaffirmed his support for the Jewish community.”
“During his time at the Jewish Care Center in north-west London, the King spoke to victims of the recent knife attack in the area on 29 April 2026.”
“His Majesty also met with Shomrim, the community police force who were involved in responding to the attacks,” the palace said.
The monarch’s visit coincides with his youngest son Prince Harry’s article for the New Statesman magazine.
Prince Harry wrote that the rise in anti-Semitism in Britain is deeply troubling and that any anger people feel about events in the Middle East cannot justify hostility towards people or beliefs.
The Duke of Sussex indirectly criticized Israeli government policies, but said legitimate protest should not turn into hatred.
