meta ray-ban Meta’s are one of the most successful AI-powered hardware products to date, prompting Mark Zuckerberg to devote 80% of the September 2025 Meta Connect keynote to discussing them. Meta’s Ray-Bans are really sleek and stylish, and designed for people who already wear glasses, with strong prescription lens support and the option of shaded or transition lenses.
We reviewed both generations, and cite the camera improvements in the second-gen as the primary differentiating factor – which supports 3K resolution (as opposed to the first’s 1080p+).
Additionally, the second generation has a major improvement in battery life, up to eight hours per charge or up to 48 hours with the case. The first generation is about half that: four hours per charge.
