Prince Harry is breaking his silence on violence against Jewish communities.
The Duke of Sussex recently spoke about anti-Semitic violence in Britain in a confessional.
The father-of-two defended the Jewish communities in Manchester and London while writing for The New Statesman
He wrote: “We have seen how legitimate protest against state actions in the Middle East coexists with hostility toward domestic Jewish communities – just as we have also seen how criticism of those actions can be easily dismissed or misrepresented.
“Nothing, whether criticism of a government or the reality of violence and destruction, can ever justify hostility toward an entire people or faith.”
He wrote: “We cannot ignore a hard truth: when states act without accountability, and in ways that raise serious questions under international humanitarian law – criticism is both legitimate, necessary and necessary in any democracy.
“Consequences do not remain confined within borders. They echo outward, shaping perception, increasing tension.”
