Bella Murphy has spoken openly about the strict rules imposed by her father Eddie Murphy during her upbringing.
During the latest interview with People Magazine, Bella shared that she wasn’t allowed to act professionally until she was 18.
According to him, this rule was created to ensure that he and his siblings experienced a normal childhood away from the pressures of Hollywood.
Bella said, “I would always ask my dad, ‘Can I please be an extra in this movie?’ He would always say, ‘No’.”

Additionally, she also credited her elder sister Bria Murphy for inspiring her to pursue acting. “Before I did, she wanted to be an actress and I was playing the little sister, like, ‘I’m going to copy you’,” Bella said.
