A Wall Street executive has been accused by a former employee of treating her like a “sex slave” and has filed a defamation counterclaim, it has been reported.
Chirayu Rana, 35, is suing JPMorgan for millions of dollars, claiming her female boss, Lorna Hajdini, 37, sexually harassed her, racially abused her and drugged her.
Hajdini and JPMorgan deny the allegations, but the lawsuit has spread on both sides of the Atlantic.
She has since filed a defamation suit against Rana, alleging that he launched a months-long campaign of false allegations. New York Post Informed.
“Hajdini clearly and unequivocally denies each and every allegation of unlawful conduct,” the countersuit reads.
It says the claims are “grossly false, malicious and fabricated” – and that they were “concocted for the improper purpose of personal enrichment at the expense of the defendants and others.”

Her lawyers also criticized Rana for “spreading the lie that Hajdini was a racist, sexual predator.”
Their aim, he said, was to destroy his reputation in order to extort millions of dollars from him and JPMorgan.
The document also alleges that Rana had previously made “extremely similar fabricated allegations” of sexual misconduct against a supervisor at a former job.
“Hajdini seeks to clear her name, mitigate the substantial damages she has suffered, and hold Plaintiff accountable for her corrupt and illegal conduct,” the court filing said.
His lawyers called Rana’s initial complaint “the culmination of a months-long campaign to discredit Hajdini with fabricated claims in the workplace, at third parties, in the press and now in this court.”
Three weeks have passed since the disgusting allegations were first made public.
JPMorgan insiders claimed that Rana had initially asked for a “$20 million payout” before leaving the bank.
When the company offered him a $1 million settlement before the trial, he rejected it.
In a statement, the bank said it did not believe Rana’s claims had “merit”.
The internal investigation reportedly found no evidence of wrongdoing despite an extensive search of emails, records and devices.
JPMorgan claimed that Hajdini fully cooperated with the investigation and Rana did not.
A spokesperson said, “We fully support Lorna and her right to defend herself and protect her reputation.”
“As we have said from the beginning, we do not believe the allegations against him or the firm have merit.”
comes after this New York Post reported Rana had allegedly lied to the bank about his father’s death to gain time to prepare for the trial.
Rana allegedly sought legal advice on rape from a chatbot, the newspaper reported.
