Andrew Scott has opened up about his film Pressure and working with Brendan Fraser.
talking with people magazineScott described his co-star Fraser as “the sweetest person”.
He added, “I think when people look at Brendan Fraser, I think we like him.”
The actor said, “Everyone just loves him. And we look at him and think, ‘Oh, I trust him.’
Additionally, Scott explained that confidence is “very important” when you’re playing someone like Dwight D. Eisenhower, the character played by Fraser in the film.
Notably, Scott himself plays Meteorologist Stagg, a British weather officer attached to the Royal Air Force in the World War II film.
The actor also shared that his and Fraser’s characters are “very different”, yet both are “extremely honest people”.
Discussing what typically attracts him to acting projects, Andrew Scott said, “It’s always the script. That’s where it starts.”
He continued, “You know, I don’t think you can make a great movie if you have a mediocre script. I don’t think that’s possible for me in some ways. So I’m doing a lot of different things, and that’s the name of the game for me.”
