Paul Rudd reflects on his life before acting.
At an advanced screening of his new film, power ballad, The actor opened up about working as a DJ before becoming a Hollywood star.
Rudd said, “I was in school. I could work on the weekends – on bat mitzvahs and weddings and birthdays. I did that for about a year.”
Adding, “If I wanted kids to come there, I knew ‘Can’t Touch This’ (by MC Hammer) was a big movie.”
Rudd added, “But if I wanted the grandparents to dance – Glenn Miller.”
It is worth noting that Paul Rudd had already talked about doing small jobs in the 90s. He shared about starring in a Nintendo commercial in 2025 in 1991.
“I never really felt that famous,” the MCU star said.
He said, “I was a working actor and even when I was doing commercials I had a regular job.” “And then as it slowly started — as I started getting more work — sometimes someone would say, ‘Hey, Clueless!,’ or whatever.”
Furthermore, the Ant-Man actor also said, “And, you know, I think it was just the nature of that time when there was no social media, no Internet – everything slowed down a little bit.”
