Simi Valley Police arrested 58-year-old Frank Blessing Vandalized his sport utility vehicle through the front of a donut shop.Leaving an empty space at the entrance. Before being taken into custody later in the morning, he rammed a police cruiser and attacked an officer, authorities said.
Police believe Blessing was upset that the donut shop was closed when he stopped at 3:30 a.m.

Officers responded to a call at 3:30 a.m. reporting that a person had caused damage to a local business.
A Simi Valley police officer pulled Blessing over around the corner from the Donut Plus Donut shop on Eringer Road. Police said the front end of his Chevy Tahoe was heavily damaged.
As officers exited their vehicles to approach the SUV, Blessing briefly exited his vehicle, according to Simi Valley Police Sgt. Rick Morton, the department’s public information officer.
According to Morton, Blessing returned to his Tahoe, put it in reverse and collided with the police cruiser.
As the officer ran for safety, he pulled over and got into the police vehicle again, Morton said. He said Blessing also tried to run over the officer and failed.
Police said Blessing then crashed into the wall of a nearby home, disabling his Tahoe.
According to authorities, he was armed with a knife and did not comply when newly arrived officers tried to take him into custody, but he was eventually arrested after officers tased him.
According to Morton, the officer who was allegedly attacked suffered minor injuries.
When Morton was asked about his profession, he described Blessing as having a “wrestling background”.
Surveillance footage from KTLA Blessing is shown pulling up to a donut shop and attempting to pull open the glass doors.
