If you know me, you know I love a seasonal reset. Each quarter, I take time to clean my space, take stock of my routine, and create a wish list of new, seasonally specific items. The latter is my favorite part. Maybe it’s because I’m a beauty editor, and shopping is literally part of my job, or maybe it’s because I’m online for so long. Still, I love finding items that range from cool and collectible to useful and efficient. All of this is in an effort to align me and my space with the rhythm of the seasons.
Summer is my favorite seasonal season among them all. It’s exciting to plan vacations, fill your social calendar, and prepare for days spent outside in the sun. This year, I’m refreshing my SPF collection, updating my wardrobe with a few key items, and prepping my beach bag for long, leisurely days spent by the water. And after spending two weeks shopping, I’m finally ready to share my wish list with you, dear reader. Ahead, check out the 27 items I’ve personally curated for summer 2026.

St. Bart’s Leave In Conditioner
Summer has a very bad effect on my hair. After three months of sun, sweat, and swimming — not to mention heat styling for weddings and other events — my hair needed some serious help. in an attempt to prevent Instead of trying to reverse the damage in the fall, I’m re-stocking my favorite leave-in product: Oui’s St. Barts Leave-In Conditioner. It provides hydrating, smoothing and protection up to 450 degrees to the hair. It smells bad too Incredible; The tropical scent includes notes of orange blossom, tuberose and amber.
Biore
UV Aqua Rich Daily Hydrating Facial Moisturizer SPF 50
I don’t discriminate between chemical and mineral SPFs. I test and collect both. This chemical formula is my all-time favorite, and I don’t say that lightly. It’s lightweight, hydrating, and melts into my skin without a whisper of white cast.
Dr. Loretta
Universal Glow Daily Defense
When it comes to mineral sunscreens, I love Dr. Loretta’s Universal Glow Daily Defense. It offers broad-spectrum SPF 40, skin-quenching hydration, and a powerful antioxidant complex called leucochroman for advanced pollution protection. Thanks to a universal pink tint, it blends seamlessly into the skin.

Arch Support Flip Flops
TikTok has officially convinced me that traditional flip flips are over. Since they don’t provide any arch support, they can cause flat feet, aches, pains, and misalignment (or so I’m told). That’s why I’ve already purchased two pairs of these arch-support flip flops. The reviews couldn’t be more encouraging, and many people claimed they could wear these for 12+ hours without any discomfort.

A-Cica365 Cooling Relief Toner Pad
The extreme heat causes discoloration and redness (or, if you’re like me, a full-blown rosacea flare-up). This year, I’m trying to prevent that with cool skin care products I can use on the go. These cooling toner pads are easy to travel with and infuse the skin with proprietary pH4.5CICA (a complex of Asiatica, Zinc and PHA) to soothe the skin. Meanwhile, hyaluronic acid adds hydration and niacinamide helps heal dark spots and discoloration.
Sophie Pavitt Face
Frizz to Face Blemish Defense Cooling Mist
Here are my other best skin care picks. This face mist uses a cryotherapy-inspired ingredient to cool skin on contact, while rebalancing post-biotic blemish-prone skin, and niacinamide reduces redness and discoloration. This is no easy task on a hot summer day.

Aura Platinum Body Gua Sha
I’ve been focusing on my body care routine lately and this body gua sha has been a big part of that. It helps brighten my skin, reduce the appearance of cellulite, and stimulate lymphatic drainage. I simply apply body oil before using it to facilitate smooth glide. Then, I work up and out in long strokes.

La Pera Mid-Year Planner
The start of a new season is the perfect time to evaluate your goals and routine. This is also the perfect time to start working on New Year’s resolutions. After all, we’re only halfway through the year—there’s still time! I’m doubling productivity and organizing busy days with Papier’s Mid-Year Planner. It’s a brilliant concept, IMO, and inspires me to make the most of the second half of the year.

Beach Skin Brightening Body Oil
fleur’s beach skin hair and body mist ($39) Was one of my most worn fragrances this past summer. With notes of bergamot, salty tiara flower and sandalwood, this bottling is a luxurious seaside holiday. This summer, I’m doubling down on the scent with this luminous body oil. It gives skin a soft, dewy—not shiny—glow.

Island Swim Hair and Body Mist
I’m also adding one of Fleur’s newest fragrances to my summer lineup. This is one of two new, sunshine-soaked body mists that have just launched, and it’s totally luscious with notes of bergamot, coconut and seaside florals. It evokes “salty skin and sunlit waves.” Excellent.

beach blanket
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. The key to a grade-A beach day is an extra-large towel, ideally one made of 100% cotton. Oh! That is the matter. It is fast-drying, durable and breathable. Plus, it can be rolled up with the included cotton and leather carry strap for easy transportation. It also has a hole in the middle for a beach umbrella if you really want to go all out.
