Hilaria Baldwin thinks the age difference between her and Alec Baldwin “looks ridiculous.”
The 42-year-old podcaster has been married to Alec, 68, since 2012, and she admits that the huge age difference between them still feels weird.
talking to daily Mail The newspaper, Hilaria, said, “A 27-year-old yoga instructor married to a rich and famous older man seems ridiculous. It sounds like a bad SNL sketch.”
Despite this, Hilaria and Alec are able to laugh about the age difference as she revealed, “It worked out luckily, but we make fun of each other all the time in our family.”
Hilaria said, “I think people expected that Alec wanted someone he could be the boss of, and we’re on the same level together.”
Hilaria and Alec, who have children Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, nine, Romeo, eight, Eduardo, five, Maria Lucia, five, and Ilaria, three, have found ways to keep the spark in their romance for more than a decade.
“We’ve been traveling a lot for work lately but we try to do a lot of date nights, which usually involve dinner,” the podcaster shared.
She added, “He loves a good dinner. We either go out or I cook and we usually catch up and talk to each other about our seven kids and our projects.”
Meanwhile, Alec previously revealed that he is looking forward to spending more time at home with his wife and children in the coming years.
The actor has enjoyed huge success in Hollywood, but is now happy to give up various career opportunities to spend time with his loved ones.
