Meghan Markle is experiencing a change in her social media strategy as her children grow up.
The Duchess of Sussex, who has been big on the privacy of her children since leaving the UK in 2020, has started featuring the little ones on her official Instagram account.
Branding expert Megan Dooley told the Daily Mail: “We have certainly seen a marked change in Meghan’s approach to presenting her children on public social media, especially when we compare it to her and Harry’s earlier dedication to privacy.
“But a closer look reveals that these appearances are very selective and deliberate, rather than accidental and unplanned.”
But she warned: “Like any founder-led lifestyle brand, the risk is that audiences are increasingly recognizing the family content that the brand serves first.
“Meghan’s challenge is to keep it simple rather than engineer it,” he said.
Prince Harry left the royal family in 2020 along with wife Meghan Markle and son Prince Archie. The couple later accused the royal family of showing racism towards their son and shared their grievances publicly on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
