The 2026 Met Gala will take place on Monday, May 4, with the red carpet beginning in the evening at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Guests are expected to arrive at 5:30 pm ET, while official red carpet coverage will begin at 6 pm ET.

According to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, guests are invited to “express their relationship with fashion as a tangible art form and celebrate the countless depictions of the adorned body throughout art history.”
