According to their findings, King Charles is having serious talks on the matter, saying “he can no longer afford to stand back”. According to the source, “They feel it is important for the survival of the monarchy to see William and Harry making peace.”
Especially amid Andrew’s scandal and Charles’s health battles, “they are in an unstable position” in her view.
Furthermore, the source also claims that King Charles is very understanding of the ‘betrayal’ he feels by Prince William, but he still reportedly feels that “now is the time to put politics above emotions, a good ruler should be able to do that. The feeling is that they need to show unity right now, and Charles is putting pressure on William to fall in line and prove he can be a leader.”
