RedMagic has been testing the successor to its Gaming Tablet 3 Pro for some time now, but hasn’t revealed any key specifications yet. It has been confirmed to be called the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, and a tipster has now shared new information about the tablet.
While the brand has confirmed that the tablet will feature an OLED display, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that it will sport a 9-inch panel with a 185Hz refresh rate and 2400 x 1504-pixel resolution.
The gaming tablet 5 Pro is said to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and feature a liquid cooling system.
It is expected to come with an 8,300mAh battery, RGB lighting, and transparent design. According to the tipster, the tablet will be offered in Tritium Transparent Silver Wing, Tritium Transparent Dark Night, and Gold Legend color options.

The tablet will be sold in 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB and 24GB/1TB RAM and storage configurations. Although the launch date is still not known, the Redmagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is currently available for pre-order in China. It is likely to be launched as RedMagic Astra 2 in the global markets.
