Earlier this year, Samsung announced that it was launching a special Kids Edition model of the Galaxy Tab A11+, which includes software features and apps for younger users. The variant was first spotted in Southeast Asian markets and looks like the Samsung It’s finally been brought to buyers in North America.
In terms of features, the Tab A11+ Kids Edition has a lot of the same hardware as the standard model, such as an 11-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 7040mAh battery with 25W charging. Samsung includes a special rubberized silicone case that protects the tablet from occasional shocks and drops.
However, that said, Samsung has added some special software features to the A11+ Kids Edition, including a dedicated Kids Platform that focuses on education and entertainment, as well as pre-loaded apps for learning. The tablet comes with parental controls for a safe digital environment for young users.
As for pricing and availability, the Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition comes in at $349.99 and is available in gray, with cases offered in multiple colors including red, blue, purple, and royal blue. It is available on Samsung.com, Samsung Experience Stores, and BestBuy.com and Best Buy retail locations, with availability on Amazon.com starting April 23, 2026.
