David Beckham is very influenced by his wife Victoria Beckham.
As the former Spice Girls player turned 52 on Friday, the football legend took to Instagram and penned a sweet note for his wife.
Sharing throwback pictures of Victoria, David wrote in the caption, “Happy Birthday to the one and only Posh Spice.”
“We love you so much and we will make sure your day is as special as the best wife, mother, friend and of course gym partner you deserve,” he wrote, vowing to make the fashion icon’s big day special.
David concluded, “Happy birthday we love you @victoriabeckham.”
Victoria Beckham responded to the sweet gesture in the comments section, writing, “I love you so much.”
Apart from this, David Beckham also expressed his love for Victoria on the stories of his official handle. Sharing photos of Victoria, David poked a little fun at her, writing, “To my working class wife, happy birthday. We love you,” he added, “Be honest.”
It refers to a viral clip from Netflix’s Beckham documentary, where David jokingly interrupted Victoria while talking to the camera.
When Victoria was explaining how she and David came from “working class” families, David laughed and said, “Let’s be honest.”
Disgruntled, David asked his wife, “What car did your father use to take you to school?”
However, after some back-and-forth about the vehicle’s specifications, Victoria admitted, “Well, in the ’80s, my dad had a Rolls-Royce.”
