Hello, Dream Spring Wardrobe. Now that the season is well underway, I’m putting together warm weather outfits for the first time all year, combining pieces that have been lying idle in the back of my closet all winter and several new items I’ve recently purchased. This has made me acutely aware of all the gaps in my spring lineup and as such, I’ve started drafting a long shopping list to fill them.
At the start of each new season, I keep a running tab of all the items I want to add to my wardrobe to nail down each of the broader trends I’m seeing, and for spring 2026 that looks like colorful T-shirts, khaki jeans, and knee-length skirts that are trendy but not Very Trendy—after all, my personal style is more understated. Since I have zero patience, I’ve already started buying and wearing many of the items on this list, so I can confirm how good they look IRL.
