Google has now introduced new touch-up tools in the Google Photos image editor. These let you “apply micro-enhancements” that enhance skin texture, remove blemishes, brighten eyes, or whiten teeth.
To use the new tool, select a face in the photo and choose one of the options: fix, smooth, under eyes, iris, teeth, eyebrows or lips. Once you choose an effect, you can adjust its intensity.
These tools are currently rolling out globally in the Google Photos app for Android for devices with at least 4GB of RAM running Android 9.0 and later.
