Kate Middleton admits that she is often asked to speak loudly during public events.
The Prince of Wales, who attended Queen Elizabeth’s bicentenary celebrations, admitted that the royal family teases him about how he presents himself to royal fans.
Speaking to guests at Buckingham Palace, she said: “I think these environments are really difficult. I also have a very low voice, so I’m always told ‘Speak a little louder!’
In the 2016 ITV documentary Our Queen at Ninety, Kate said: “Chatting is a real art, everyone in the family teases me that I spend too long chatting. I still have a bit more to learn, and I think there are a few more tips to pick up.”
Meanwhile, body language expert Judy James told the Mirror: “Kate’s body language defines her as a role model and very active hostess, while the simple lilac dress with 1940s-inspired bust darts and three rows of pearls feels like a very powerful tribute to the late Queen’s iconic style on what would have been her 100th birthday.”
