Kate Middleton had a special royal engagement on Saturday!
The Princess of Wales celebrated ANZAC Day in London as she stepped out at the Cenotaph in a stunning navy blazer dress with white lapels.
The official Instagram handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales also posted engagement photos. “Celebrating ANZAC Day in London,” he wrote in the caption.
The caption further reads, “Remembering the courage, sacrifice and spirit of all Australians and New Zealanders who have served and continue to serve the armed forces.”
Notably, the Princess also laid a wreath on behalf of King Charles. Their action symbolizes the monarchy’s respect for Commonwealth veterans and an important diplomatic and commemorative duty.
It’s worth mentioning that Kate Middleton’s engagement came hours after Princess Anne left to attend the Dawn Service for ANZAC Day in London.
Royal fans expressed their love for the princess in the comments section with one writing, “You look stunning, Catherine!”
Another said, “Future Queen is always amazing, even a small gesture takes people by surprise.”
In particular, a third user said that this is a “very important engagement for the Princess of Wales”.
