A woman caught snatching several wine bottles for herself amid the chaos at the White House correspondents dinner has gone viral online.
The bold step was taken after shots were fired at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner at the Washington Hilton on Saturday night.
A gunman, later identified by authorities as Cole Thomas Allen, 31, of California, reportedly armed with a shotgun, a handgun and several knives attacked a security post outside the main ballroom.
But one woman appeared more concerned about getting her money back than getting out.
This is absolutely hilarious.

The unidentified blonde, wearing a long black fur coat, walked straight towards a table to collect the wine.
The shooting took place early in the evening, and so much of the wine in the ballroom was left untouched.
The identity of the woman is not immediately clear, and it is also not clear whether this was alcohol she had already paid for. There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing.
Despite this, the footage quickly went viral, and many people were divided over it.
One said: “This is absolutely disgusting. Members of the press were caught stealing bottles of wine at the White House correspondents’ dinner shortly after the shootings.”
Another said: “The President has almost been assassinated and members of the media are using the opportunity to steal bottles of liquor.”

But others disagreed and found the move ridiculous.
One said: “They paid $350+ per plate, and the night was canceled early, free wine tax refund is fair game.”
Another poster wrote, “What kind of theft is this? They were put on the table for dinner. They were meant to be consumed. Everything had already been paid for.”
A third said: “The highlight of the shoot is all the press and influencers shaking wine and champagne bottles. Good on them for that.”
A fourth commented: “This is absolutely hilarious. After a murder attempt, this woman just sneaks a few bottles of wine. She’s got her priorities figured out.”
During the confrontation, the suspect fired at a Secret Service agent, who was hit at close range, but escaped without major injury due to a bulletproof vest.
While investigators believe the attack was politically motivated, Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanch said preliminary findings suggest the gunman was likely targeting administration officials, including the President.
Writings reportedly found in the suspect’s possession referred to him as a “friendly federal killer” and criticized current administration policies.
While the event was canceled for the evening, President Trump later addressed the nation from the White House, praising the Secret Service’s quick response and calling for an end to political violence.
