Princess Charlotte, daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, has mastered the art of charming a crowd as well as walking the aisle, a skill that took many members of the royal family years to learn and perfect.
The young princess, who is making more and more public appearances with her older brother, Prince George, has been looking more confident at high-profile family events.
Just last month, when she attended the traditional Easter Sunday church service with the firm at Windsor Castle, Charlotte walked out confidently in front of her parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, waving to royal fans.
At Christmas, as the royal family welcomed the crowds who came to see them at Sandringham, the third in line to the throne appeared at home as she hugged well-wishers and accepted gifts, comparing her to a miniature version of the late Queen.
And according to royal expert Jenny Bond, Charlotte’s confident, polite and reserved demeanor comes down to one thing, the family life that her parents William and Kate have created for her and her older brothers George and Prince Louis.
East BBC royal correspondent told mirror“I think any child’s confidence stems from a happy and stable home life. And that’s something William and Catherine have worked very hard to achieve for their children. Looking at all three of them, they’ve done a good job as parents.”
She added, “On their recent Easter outing at Windsor, it was Charlotte who looked most at ease in front of the cameras and the crowd and pointed a bit towards them. Like her mother, she looks effortlessly beautiful. I think she is living proof that the Prince and Princess are absolutely justified in prioritizing their family, in the way they have insisted.”
The TV personality said, “In recent decades, with some justification, the royals have been labeled one of the country’s most dysfunctional families. And that needs to change.”
“William and Catherine have faced criticism for making that change, for example by ring-fencing school holidays, and being there for their children in a way that royals of the past haven’t always been. And I think it’s making a significant difference,” Jenny further noted.
However, despite being happy in public, Charlotte and her brothers are fiercely protected by William and Kate so that their privacy is maintained and they can all grow up and enjoy their school life at Lambrooke School.
