A holidaymaker has shamed a “creepy” scuba diving instructor who was filmed repeatedly touching her underwater.
Rasha Medine traveled alone to Egypt and attended the first day of a €350 scuba diving course.
The 31-year-old woman said she met the trainer, who instructed her not to hug him because it was Ramadan and she was Muslim.
But when the two went underwater, she said the man’s behavior changed.
The content creator, who filmed the interaction, claims the instructor touched her bottom while she was in the water.
The disturbing footage shows the two swimming holding hands, before the teacher turns and puts his arm around Rasha.

He is seen placing his hand first on her back and then on her leg.
When Rasha tries to push her away, the instructor again grabs her legs, in what appears to be an attempt to prevent her from moving away.
Rasha, from Los Angeles, California, US, said: “I was trying to show that Egypt is one of the cheapest places to go scuba diving.
“There was a camera there and yet he chose to do what he did.”
Once back on the ground, Rasha said the instructor “showed off” and even offered to take her home.
She said she refused and returned to her hotel.
Rasha said: “I was new to learning. I didn’t know what his intentions were. I thought he might be doing something to get oxygen, I don’t know.
“Until I knew it, he was touching my butt and there was no reason for it. I was upset. I have a bad temper.
“I tried to bite my tongue and handle it from the outside. I thought, ‘Just breathe, you’re OK.’ He considered letting it go.
“We came out of the water and I didn’t even know what to say.
“He was like, ‘I wish I knew you were living here. I would have left you. My car is really fast, it has so much horsepower’.”
After reaching home, Rasha looked back at the footage of the incident.
“We came out of the water and I didn’t even know what to say, so I went home to watch the footage. When we came out of the water he was still trying to show off.”
Rasha, who also works as a lifeguard, said she was unsafe because she did not know how to use her oxygen equipment and was alone with the instructor.
The solo traveler posted the footage on social media, which received more than three million views.
Rasha said the trainer contacted her after seeing the footage online and claimed he did not touch her inappropriately.
Rasha said: “The funny part of it is that I’m a lifeguard and teach swimming. I’m comfortable in the water.”
“But I had this gear and oxygen thing on and I didn’t know how deep I was in. You could die from the pressure, I didn’t know that stuff.
“I was in a vulnerable position with this guy, it was just me and him in the water.
“I was extremely upset, I was angry that I was in the water. If I was on land, no matter what sport I was doing, I could just walk over, get in my car and go.
“I might have hit him at that moment, I don’t know. It was Ramzan and you should remain calm.
“I had no choice. Just a guy thinking he could do whatever he wanted.”
“I went home and it was over. I went on social media and he messaged me like ‘What is this, why are people saying I’m touching you?’
“I didn’t respond to him because it’s crazy if he doesn’t think he’s touching me.”
The holidaymaker said he showed no signs of “flirtation” before getting into the water.
Rasha is now urging women to do their research and choose a female instructor before booking scuba diving.
Rasha said: “I wasn’t interested, I didn’t show any flirtation to him. I don’t understand why he felt that way.”
“I’m very strict and straightforward, I don’t flirt with people I’m not interested in, it’s not in my nature.
“He has no reason to think anything.
“I’m a strong girl, I can stand up for myself.”
The content creator advises other vacationers to research scuba diving spots before signing up.
She urged young women to “preferably get a female instructor.”
