Britney Spears’ representatives have broken their silence on her alleged violent incident.
The singer’s rep revealed that her recent outing in California was completely exaggerated.
The rep added, “Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard.”
He said, “She was just telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors. She never put anyone in danger with a knife. She was cutting her hamburger in half.”
He said, “Everything she does is constantly attacked and that’s exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to paint Britney as a bad person. It’s ridiculous and it needs to stop now.”
This comes days after TMZ reported from insiders that Spears was at the Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks when she allegedly started “yelling” and “barking.”
