People who don’t realize that they definitely don’t want this job

A reader writes:

Can we have a thread on “people who don’t want” it Job”? Notable entries to me include the guy who applied to be our lobbyist who was extremely clear he was going to use our contacts and access to the lobby to legalize psychedelics (dude, we’re teachers, this isn’t even related) and the guy who applied for the admin job but very clearly wanted the lobbyist job and all he had questions about was the admin job and how to get promoted to the lobbyist job. Second place goes to those two guys. who applied for many of our jobs because they wanted any job they could find across the country.

Yes, actually we can. Another example: A person works for a mid-tier clothing manufacturer but insists on Gucci-level quality.
